Patients must clinically qualify for treatment as the dentist deems appropriate. If dentist determines the case is very complex (Example: Tooth Tangled in Nerve or tooth located deep in jaw) the case may be referred to an Oral Surgeon.

Tooth Extractions Procedure & Recovery Dental extractions with bone grafts and membranes are surgical procedures that require proper medical evaluation and patient cooperation for safe and successful healing. Patients must inform our office if they are pregnant, taking blood thinners, or on any prescription, over-the-counter medications, or supplements, as some conditions may require medical clearance from your physician before treatment. If your physician requires pre-medication for infections or other medical conditions, it must be taken as directed prior to your procedure. Patients should have normal blood pressure at the time of surgery.
Our office offers oral sedation for added comfort at an extra cost; this is not included in the standard treatment fee. If you are interested, please contact our office in advance so we can review costs and options.
After your procedure, it is important to avoid smoking, alcohol, or any activity that may disrupt healing. You are asked to return in approximately one week so we can evaluate healing and ensure proper progress. Patients should follow all post-operative instructions carefully, including pain management, oral hygiene, and dietary recommendations, to minimize complications such as infection, delayed healing, or graft failure.
Our office reserves the right to postpone, modify, or decline treatment if medical conditions are not adequately controlled or if patient safety may be compromised.
